Ecological Art

Ecological Art

My recent work has been an in-depth search to discover how we as humans dwell in, and engage with the natural landscape. I like to think that the works on larger paper scrolls, and the landscape sculptures in which I assemble my thoughts, feelings and expressive interpretation of the environment, represent a story about the wonders of Mother Earth and how much we have to loose. The process of drawing,  painting and sculpture based on the living structures and processes in Nature, helps us to reconnect to the natural world. This results in physical and mental wellbeing, and promotes individual self-discovery and self awareness through a multitude of sensory attractions embedded in the biophilic patterns found in nature.
